I have two cards here to share with you all today! And they are the same, just different colours to meet the challenge criteria for the City Crafter Challenge Blog challenge to make ‘A Perfect Pair’! I will be reposting these cards to enter for other challenges and this is a dedicated post just for my City Crafter Challenge.
The flower and leaves stamps are from Hero Arts, and I had to hand cut them for these cards. Before I did that, I coloured the stamp itself with Memento waterbased markers and spritzed it with some Perfect Pearls Mist so it is a wee bit shimmery but only when you look up close!
The pockets were die cut from waxed paper using PTI’s Seed Packet Die and had the tops chopped off with a PTI die (forgot the actual name but it’s supposed to mimic the look of pinking shears) so that they looked like mini glassine bags!
Adhered the ‘glassine’ pockets to the two different colour mats and attached them to a cream card base which was then distressed with some PTI Vintage Touch dye ink..
I used shipping tags for the ‘pull out’ and stamped the smallest flowers from the same HA stamp set
Thank you for visiting!! xx Stephinka
That is cute and pretty all in one, they are the perfect pair!!!! Thanks for playing along with us at CCCB!
Thank you!! 🙂
Lovely cards. Creative way to make those glassine bags. the tags are very pretty.
It’s pretty difficult to cut through those waxy papers actually! I had to cut out some parts with scissors as the die didn’t cut all the way.. But yes, this is a fun way to make a little bag with some baking/cookie paper ^___^
Wow!! Fabulous! perfect for the challenge … thanks so much for playing along at CCCB
